The Laundry Whisperer

I put Ellison to bed just before I had to run up and grab the laundry. When I came back down, he was leaping back into bed (as usual).

“You need to stay in bed,” I said.

“But moooom, I need to -” I put a fresh-from the dryer blanket over him. “-ohhhh. It’s so warm!”

He snuggled right up and went to sleep.

Ellison: I walked on the tightrope and I didn’t even fall off!
Me: Wow! Are you going to join the circus?
Ellison: No. Silly mama. I’m not going to join the circus until I’m 16.
